NFIB State Director Jim Brown has presented Guardian of Small Business awards to four state legislators for their support of Tennessee’s job creators during this year’s session of the General Assembly. The Guardian of Small Business award is the most prestigious honor that NFIB bestows on legislators in recognition of their efforts to support small business. The NFIB Tennessee Leadership Council, an advisory board comprised of NFIB members, voted to present the award to the legislator for his outstanding leadership on small-business issues.
“Each of these leaders went the extra mile in this year’s legislative session to create and maintain an environment where owners can own, operate, and grow their small businesses,” Brown said. “On behalf of our Tennessee members, it’s an honor and a privilege to present these legislators with the Guardian of Small Business Award.
