WASHINGTON, DC (Sept. 29, 2021) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, announced today that it is expanding its multi-state paid advertising campaign including radio, print, and digital ads in targeted states and districts, including Kansas’s Third Congressional District, encouraging Rep. Sharice Davids (KS-03) to vote against devastating tax hikes on small businesses.
These new ads continue a targeted effort that highlights why tax increases would be harmful to small businesses while holding members of Congress accountable for their support of massive government spending, tax hikes, and costly mandates. Similar ads were announced last week in Iowa and New Hampshire.
“Kansas’s fragile small business recovery could be in jeopardy, and Congresswoman Sharice Davids could be the deciding vote,” said Kevin Kuhlman, NFIB Vice President of Federal Government Relations. “Washington has proposed trillions in new government spending, and they want to pay for it with crippling new taxes on small businesses. Congresswoman Sharice Davids should stand up for Main Street and vote no on any new taxes on Kansas’s small businesses.”
