NFIB PAC Makes Second Round of Legislative Endorsements

Date: June 05, 2018

Challengers, candidates running in open seats, and recent appointees get small businesses’ backing

On June 4, NFIB announced endorsements for nine candidates for the Oregon House of Representatives, in addition to the 22 legislators who were endorsed for re-election in April.

This list included recent appointees, challengers, and candidates running in open seats. A final round of legislative endorsements will occur later this month.

“Heading into the 2019 legislative session, we need as many pro-small business lawmakers as possible in the Oregon Legislature,” said Alan Brown, a small-business owner, NFIB Oregon PAC chairman, and former state representative. “These candidates have demonstrated both an understanding of the key issues facing small businesses in Oregon and an ability to win in November.”

The following endorsements were made by the NFIB Oregon PAC.

  • Gary Leif, House District 2
  • Shelly Boshart Davis, HD15
  • Marty Heyen, HD22
  • David Molina, HD29
  • Lori Chavez-DeRemer, HD51
  • Jeff Helfrich, HD52
  • Cheri Helt, HD54
  • Daniel Bonham, HD59
  • Lynn Findley, HD60
