Alabama Absentee Voting Information

The Alabama Secretary of State’s office has compiled a website with clear information on how to vote in this year’s election if you’re unable to vote in person.

Absentee ballot applications must be received by your county’s absentee election manager no later than the 5th calendar day prior to the election.

You may submit your absentee ballot in person by the close of business on the day before the election.

If you choose to submit your absentee ballot by mail, it must be postmarked no later than the day before the election and be received by the absentee election manager by noon on Election Day.
