An Update From Your NFIB/Virginia State Director

Date: August 19, 2015

The NFIB Virginia team is gearing up for the next session.

Dear NFIB/Virginia Members,

I hope you’re faring well during the dog days of summer and finding some time to relax and enjoy your summer. While, the General Assembly is out of session, there are a number of commissions meeting during the interim.

NFIB/Virginia is staying busy monitoring a number of issues we’ll likely see next Session. These issues range from workers compensation reform, changing the definition of small business for procurement purposes and how workers are classified.

We will be providing updates on these and other issues throughout the summer and fall as more information is available. Please contact our office if you have a specific interest in any of these issues.

Best Regards,
Nicole Riley
NFIB/Virginia State Director
