Small business owners met with lawmakers and elected officials
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Pennsylvania’s leading small business advocacy organization, hosted its annual Small Business Day in Harrisburg this week.
The event brought together small business owners from across the Commonwealth to discuss the state of small businesses with elected officials. Owners heard from Congressman Scott Perry, Attorney General Dave Sunday, and several state representatives.
“It’s imperative that lawmakers in Harrisburg hear from small business owners directly about how legislation and regulations impact their daily small business operations,” said NFIB Pennsylvania State Director Greg Moreland. “The small business economy is fragile as business costs have gotten more expensive, and hiring challenges continue. We are thankful to our members who travelled to Harrisburg and to the elected officials who took time out of their day to talk to the small business community.”
Pennsylvania state representatives also joined for a Small Business Day Legislative Panel Discussion moderated by Jan Murphy. State Reps. Tim O’Neal, Craig Williams, Kyle Mullins, and Emily Kinkead participated.

NFIB is a member-driven organization advocating on behalf of small and independent businesses nationwide.
