The award recognizes NFIB members for their dedication to Ohio small businesses
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Ohio’s leading small business advocacy organization, is proud to name Fred Horner CEO of Advanced Industrial Roofing in Massillon as NFIB’s 2026 Small Business Champion. The prestigious award honors NFIB members who demonstrate their dedication to helping NFIB promote and protect the right of its members to own, operate, and grow their small businesses.
“We are thrilled to recognize Fred Horner for his dedication to Ohio’s small businesses and are proud to name him our 2026 Small Business Champion,” said Jared Weiser, NFIB Ohio State Director. “Fred is a longtime small business owner and has earned a great reputation for being a reliable voice for the small business community. We are proud to have him as an NFIB member and thank him for his years of service to Ohio’s small businesses.”
Horner has been an NFIB member since 1989 and currently serves as the Chair of NFIB’s Legislative Committee, which reviews legislative proposals to determine their impact on Ohio’s small businesses. He has also been an NFIB Leadership Trust member for over a decade.
