Washington, D.C. (October 4, 2016) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading representative of small
business owners, is endorsing Rep. Ryan
Zinke (MT-at-large) for re-election. Zinke has a strong record of
supporting legislation that would help small businesses and should be returned
to the U.S. House of Representatives.
“Congressman Zinke has been a strong voice for
Montana small business owners and deserves to be re-elected,” said NFIB
National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “He stood with small businesses
on every critical vote during his first term in office. He’s working to reduce
the regulatory burden and reduce taxes so that Montana entrepreneur can
succeed.”
Zinke qualified for an endorsement from the
NFIB by achieving a high rating on votes scored in the current Congress. The
Congressman earned 100 percent on the 14 votes NFIB has monitored so far. The
list of the votes is available here.
Zinke’s endorsement today comes from the
NFIB SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee. Small
business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their
communities.
