Governor Announces Financial Assistance for Small Businesses Impacted By Flooding

Small business owners in eight counties impacted by the recent flooding of the St. Lawrence River and Lake Ontario are eligible for state grants to help cover costs due to physical damage or loss. Funding is available through the Empire State Development, and applications will be available in June. Initial information can be found on Governor Cuomo’s website

Additionally, Emergency Response Mobile Command Centers and Department of Environmental Conservation offices are offering weekend hours to help disseminate information and be a resource to those communities facing flood damage.
