East Central Indiana City Tops Nation in Financing for Small Business

Having a trouble accessing capital for your business? Then you may want to move to Muncie, Indiana.

The study examined 16 variables, from “access to resources” to “business costs.”

The East Central Indiana ranked No. 1 nationwide when it came to having the most accessible financing options for small businesses in WalletHub’s latest Best & Worst Small Cities to Start a Business rankings.

The personal finance site also ranked highly a number of Indiana cities as great locations for small business owners. East Chicago ranked No. 4 nationwide, behind Holland, Mich., Carbondale, Ill., and Springville, Utah. Bloomington ranked No. 555. Columbus ranked No. 77. Carmel also made the list, ranking No. 589.
