RIGHT TO WORK BRINGS HOPE TO SMALL BUSINESS ACROSS WISCONSIN
MADISON (March 9, 2015): The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB) is proud to finally be able to call Wisconsin a
right to work state as Governor Walker keeps his promise to empower small
businesses while giving workers the freedom to choose whether or not to join a
union. In what is seen as a huge step forward for Wisconsin’s economy, Governor
Walker today signed the right to work bill that was passed by both the Senate
and Assembly recently.
“We would like to express our sincere appreciation to
Governor Walker for continuing to take on the issues that plague small business
and our economy. Today is a great day for small business owners because it
means that employers and employees alike will have the ability to decide for themselves
if they wish to be part of a union.” Said NFIB Wisconsin State Director Bill G.
Smith “Whenever small business has the ability to make their own decisions,
without government interference or over regulation, both consumers and
businesses prosper. Today’s signing is a win for all of Wisconsin and we look
forward to reaping the economic benefits that other right to work states have
had the privilege of experiencing. “For more information visit www.NFIB.com
