NFIB WELCOMES NEW STATE DIRECTOR WITH EXTENSIVE POLICY MAKING EXPERIENCE

ANNAPOLIS (August 4, 2015): Today the
National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is pleased to announce that
Mr. Mike O’Halloran will be the new State
Director for NFIB Maryland and Delaware.

“It is a great honor to join the NFIB
family and have the ability to represent thousands of small business owners by
influencing the issues that they feel most severely impact their ability to
operate,” said Mike
O’Halloran. “Led by Governor Hogan, policy
makers are now focusing on the many ways they can help small business owners
flourish in Maryland. I hope to bring that same focus to Delaware as well.”

Mr. O’Halloran, a graduate of Salisbury
University, once served as Chief of Staff to former MD State Senate Minority
Leader David Brinkley and most recently was the Manager of State Government
Affairs for The Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute in
Arlington, VA prior to joining NFIB. His predecessor at NFIB, Jessica Cooper,
recently took on a new role as the National Grassroots Director for NFIB.

“I am certainly looking forward to
influencing small business policy in my home state. As a native Marylander and
someone that has spent a great deal of time working with lawmakers, I have
every confidence that NFIB is a great fit and I am looking forward to improving
the overall climate for small business owners in both Maryland and Delaware,” concluded O’Halloran.
