NFIB Endorses Delaware’s “Small
Business Team” for Legislative Races
National Federation of Independent
Business (NFIB) announces list of candidates that its members have endorsed
this year based on strong voting records
Dover (October 1, 2014) – Delaware’s leading organization for small
business owners today unveiled its endorsements in several important legislative
races this year.
NFIB/Delaware State Director Jessica Cooper called the slate of
candidates Delaware’s “Small Business Team” because of their support for lower
taxes, fewer regulations and a more competitive economic environment for small
businesses.
“Most of the employers in our state are small business owners, but it’s hard
to tell based on the policies that are coming from Dover,” she said. “The
candidates whom we are endorsing understand the
need for better policies.
“Our small businesses must compete regionally, nationally and internationally,
and they can’t afford policies that arbitrarily increase their costs or make it
tougher to expand and create new jobs.”
