WATCH: NC Small Businesses Need Sensible Regulations

Date: September 11, 2014

Small Businesses for Sensible Regulations, a coalition led by the National Federation of Independent Business, discussed the need for regulatory reform at a small-business roundtable in Devils Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs on Sept. 11.

Panelists included Mayor Dick Sears and NFIB/North Carolina State Director Gregg Thompson.

With over 3,300 federal regulations in the pipeline, small businesses throughout the country are facing a growing challenge of complying with these rules. Over the past two decades, federal agencies have added regulations with little oversight, creating a system that is full of duplicative, outdated, and inefficient rules.
