Hear From Your NFIB/Tennessee State Director

Date: April 14, 2015

A letter from state director Jim Brown on what's on the legislative docket.

Dear NFIB/Tennessee members,

Tennessee’s legislative session is expected to end in late April, but not without a flurry of activity. NFIB is working diligently to defeat “nice-sounding” bills that would be very harmful to small business: the Pay Equity Act, state minimum wage and others.

NFIB continues to closely monitor the state budget and the Revenue Modernization Act to ensure minimal impact to our 8,000-strong Tennessee membership. Contact me with feedback at 615-874-5288 or [email protected].

Sincerely,
Jim Brown
NFIB/Tennessee State Director
