Despite this uptrend in October, total FY25 sales tax receipts remain $120 million behind collections through October in FY24.
Now that the election is over, it is time to give certainty to small businesses and their employees. NFIB Michigan State Director Amanda Fisher is calling on the Michigan Legislature to make changes to the paid sick leave and minimum wage laws that will take effect in February 2025 due to a Michigan Supreme Court decision in July.
