Small Business Budget Priorities Press Conference Held in Harrisburg

Small Business Budget Priorities Press Conference Held in Harrisburg On June 28, NFIB State Director Greg Moreland was joined by lawmakers as well as Leadership Council members Warren Hudak and Jeff Wakeen for a press conference discussing small business budget priorities and issues. The issues discussed included the proposed doubling of the minimum wage, the authorization of net operating losses (NOLs) for small business, the repeal of accelerated sales tax prepayments, telefile elimination, Association Health Plans (AHPs), RGGI and the Energy Tax. “This is a critical time for small businesses who make up the fabric of our communities. Legislators need to be looking at policies that help and bolster our small businesses community, not hurt it,” said Moreland.
