NFIB Wisconsin Announces Recipients of the Guardian of Small Business Award

Members of NFIB’s Leadership Council have selected six legislators to receive the coveted Guardian of Small Business Award for the 2021-22 Session of the Legislature.

The award recognizes elected officials who demonstrate their support, consistent leadership, and strong advocacy on behalf of Wisconsin’s small business community.

The Guardian of Small Business Award was first presented by NFIB to 17 legislators for their leadership on key small business issues during the 1987-88 Wisconsin Legislative Session.  During the award’s existence since 1987-88, more than 200 legislators have been selected to receive this prestigious award.

The following legislators have been selected  to receive the award for their outstanding support and leadership on behalf of small business during the 2021-22 Session of the Wisconsin Legislature:

Representative David Armstrong

Representative Mark Born

Representative Rob Swearingen

Representative Robert Wittke

Senator Rob Stafsholt

            Senator Eric Wimberger
