NFIB Kansas Hosts Small Business Day at the Capitol

TOPEKA (March 16, 2023) – The National Federation of Business (NFIB) here in Kansas hosted Small Business Day at the Capitol, which featured conversations with Senate President Ty Masterson and House Speaker Dan Hawkins. There, small business owners were able to ask questions and talk about the challenges they face. Following the event, NFIB State Director Dan Murray said: “It’s always a treat to have small business owners here in Topeka. A recent NFIB survey found that most local job creators don’t anticipate business conditions will improve in the coming months. Having our small business owners come to the Capitol to talk about the challenges they face, helps our lawmakers craft better policies. We’ll continue to work the Legislature to make it easier to do business here in the Sunflower State.”
