Louisiana Small Businesses Endorse Whip Steve Scalise for Re-Election

BATON ROUGE, La. (Oct. 6, 2022) – The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Rep. Steve Scalise for re-election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Louisiana’s 1st Congressional District.

“Whip Scalise continues to prove himself to be a champion for Louisiana small business owners and their employees,” said Dawn McVea, NFIB Louisiana State Director. “His unwavering support, evidenced by his Guardian Award and 100% Voting Record, is critical as our members face a barrage of challenges, something he understands having been raised in a small business family. His continued leadership will be appreciated, and we look forward to working with him.”

“We are proud to endorse Whip Scalise for re-election,” said Sharon Sussin, NFIB Senior National Political Director. “He understands the issues that are most important to our members, and we are confident that he will continue to be a dependable small business ally in Congress.”

The endorsement is issued from NFIB FedPAC, NFIB’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by voluntary contributions by NFIB members over and above their membership dues. Decisions made by the NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation.
