LISTEN: An NFIB MO Legislative Update with Faune Riggin

“We’re caught in a blackhole with this economy because we’ve still got small business folks that have all these jobs out there that they can’t fill plus the inflation issue that just doesn’t seem to go away. We’ve got a couple of positive things that we’ve got going on up here,” NFIB State Director Brad Jones said in a conversation with Cape Girardeau’s Faune Riggin. Discussing the General Assembly’s consideration of tax relief, which would benefit small business owners across the Show Me State, Jones said: “Anytime you do anything that has to do with the individual income tax, you’re also dealing with thousands and thousands of small businesses that are organized as a pass-through on their taxes.” Jones also talked about the workforce development and regulatory relief bills before the General Assembly – both of which would help stabilize Missouri’s economic recovery.
