Small Businesses Applaud Passage of Regulatory Sandbox Act

The General Assembly has passed out of the Senate SB 3, the Regulatory Sandbox Act, which would not only ease the burden of regulations on start-ups, but establish an Office of Entrepreneurship. The office would serve as a one-stop shop for small businesses to get their questions answered – and serve as a valuable resource for small business owners.

Upon the Senate’s passage of SB 3, NFIB State Director Brad Jones applauded the bill.

“This is a great day for small businesses in Missouri. NFIB has long advocated for an Office of Entrepreneurship. We need a one-stop shop where small business owners can call one place to get their questions answered. I know job creators across the state will appreciate this resource, where they’ll be able to make recommendations and reduce burdensome regulations that make it difficult to own and operate a business. Main Street is still trying to recover after the pandemic, and this tool will ensure more businesses can thrive. NFIB will continue to work with legislators to make it easier to do business in the Show Me state.”
