Legislature Announces 2026 Joint Legislative Budget Hearing Schedule

New York State Legislature schedules public hearings to take place Jan. 27 through Feb. 26

The New York State Legislature released the 2026 Joint Legislative Budget Hearing Schedule, taking place from January 27th through February 26th, 2026. These public hearings, held by the Senate Finance and Assembly Ways and Means committees, are the first opportunity for stakeholders and the public to voice concerns with spending, by issue area, within in the Governor Hochul’s SFY 2026-27 Executive Budget Proposal.
