WATCH: Governor Kemp Speaks at Small Business Day

NFIB joined with the Independent Insurance Agents of Georgia on Feb. 28 to host Small Business Day at the Capitol. The event drew over 100 small business owners and independent agents to Atlanta to hear directly from legislative leaders and speak one-on-one with members of the General Assembly about the issues affecting them. This year’s keynote speaker was Gov. Brian Kemp, who spoke about his long-time membership in NFIB. Other speakers included Insurance and Safety Fire Commissioner John King, state Sen. John F. Kennedy, and NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins said, “We’re grateful to all of the leaders who took the time to come to this year’s event. It was a good opportunity for our members from around the state to learn more about what’s happening in Atlanta and engage with their legislators on the issues affecting them and their small businesses.”
