Small Business to General Assembly: Let’s Help All of Missouri

JEFFERSON CITY (January 4, 2023) – As the General Assembly convenes at the state capitol, NFIB State Director Brad Jones issued the following statement urging legislators to keep small business owners in mind.

“We’re excited to welcome the General Assembly back to Jefferson City. Whether it’s addressing unemployment insurance, rebuilding our infrastructure, or protecting business owners from burdensome litigation, the General Assembly has the opportunity to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing our small business community. With inflation raging, a labor shortage persisting, and a recession on the horizon, it’s been a tough few years for local job creators. Helping small businesses helps all of Missouri, which is why NFIB will continue to work with legislators to make it easier to do business in the Show-Me state.”
