With the start of the New Year, inflation has returned as the top business problem on Main Street. Unfortunately, Texas small business owners aren’t exempt from the challenge of escalating prices, NFIB State Director Jeff Burdett said in a conversation with Lubbock’s Chad Hasty.

“Small business owners aren’t exactly optimistic that the economy will improve any time soon. And, really, who could blame them? Inflation is continuing to make it harder and harder to make payroll, and our small business owners are trying to fill the gaps left by these unfilled job openings.”
