LA Legislature Begins 2024 Session on March 11

NFIB will be there supporting legislation that helps small businesses.

The Louisiana Legislature will gavel into session on Monday, March 11. The regular session is expected to run through June 10.

“There’s a lot at stake for small businesses in this year’s legislative session,” NFIB State Director Leah Long said. “We’ll be there making sure lawmakers pass bills that help Louisiana’s job creators.”

Key issues will include:

■ Limiting union overreach
■ Supporting insurance reform
■ Reducing the tax burden on small businesses.
