Beginning July 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Montgomery County will change in the following ways:

• Large employers (51+ employees): increases from $17.65 to $18.00/hour.
• Mid-sized employers (11–50 employees): increases from $16.00 to $16.50/hour.
• Small employers (10 or fewer employees): increases from $15.50 to $15.95/hour.

Beginning July 1, 2026, the minimum wage in Howard County will change in the following ways:

• Employers with fewer than 15 employees increase from $15.50 to $16.00/hour.

This unifies the wage floor for all businesses in the county regardless of size.
