Small business owners are encouraged to submit a comment to the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) on the requirements for the state licenses it regulates, including drinking water operators, wastewater operators, asbestos inspectors, management planners, and more. IDEM is required to review the occupational licenses and regulations within its respective jurisdictions.

Please submit any comments to Efficiency@idem.IN.gov by June 30, 2026. IDEM will review all feedback for potential rule amendments or recommendations to the General Assembly for statutory changes.
