11 Alabama Counties Affected by Drought Designated Natural Disaster Areas

This week, the Alabama Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries Rick Pate and USDA Secretary Thomas J. Vilsack announced that 11 additional Alabama counties have been designated as primary natural disaster areas due to a recent drought. CLICK HERE for the Alabama Department of Agriculture and Industries announcement. “Many of our small business owners have faced enormous challenges brought on by the drought conditions,” NFIB State Director Rosemary Elebash said. “Hopefully this relief will ease some of the financial burden of our farmers and ranchers. For more information, Alabamans should reach out to their local USDA offices.”
