NFIB Fight For Main Street

Did You Know:

NFIB warned in a 2012 study that the economic impact of Paid Sick Leave could cost Massachusetts nearly 16,000 jobs and $8.4 billion in lost output.

Now, the Massachusetts legislature is going far beyond the state’s Paid Sick Leave law by considering a Paid Family Leave and Temporary Disability Income (TDI) program requiring all employers provide up to 26 weeks paid time off in a calendar year to workers for their own illnesses; as well as up to 12 weeks paid time off to care for family members.
