NFIB strongly supports unemployment insurance reforms, approved by the Legislature, that improve work search requirements, establish strict eligibility rules be applied to applicants for jobs but fail to show for interviews or report to work when hired, and creating a linkage between unemployment insurance benefits and current economic conditions.
