Measure would reduce taxes for millions of small businesses and spark economic growth, says National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB)
The National Federation of Independent Business today issued the following statement on behalf of President and CEO Juanita Duggan on the tax reform bill passed late last night by the Senate Finance Committee:
“We are grateful to Chairman Hatch and the members of the committee who supported substantial tax relief for small businesses. Small businesses account for half the GDP and half of all jobs. This measure allows them to reinvest more of their money in growth and new jobs.
“We urge the full Senate to pass the bill as soon as possible, and we are looking forward to working with congressional leaders on a final bill that the President can sign before the end of the year.”
