Texas Small Business Community Endorses Ronny Jackson

Date: August 11, 2020

AUSTIN, Texas (Aug. 11, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Ronny Jackson today for election to the United States House of Representatives to represent Texas’ 13th Congressional District.

“Ronny Jackson’s background and unique perspective make him a strong candidate for office,” said Annie Spilman, NFIB’s Texas State Director. “He has a deep understanding of the challenges our members face and is committed to standing up for several issues our members care about, such as healthcare and regulatory reform and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. We feel confident that he will get things done for the small business community in Texas’ 13th Congressional District and we’re proud to endorse him today.”

Dr. Ronny Jackson is a retired Rear Admiral in the United States Navy with 25 years of service, including service during three presidential administrations.

“With a strong focus on reining in federal regulations and reducing the size of government, Ronny Jackson is a candidate that we are pleased to support,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We know he will be a strong advocate for small businesses in Texas and across the country, and we look forward to working with him in Congress.”

Ronny Jackson’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Texas will work hard to elect Ronny Jackson to Congress.
