Date: July 30, 2018

NFIB cites candidate’s small business background in endorsement

Washington, D.C. (July 30, 2018)NFIB, the nation’s leading small business advocacy association, today endorses NFIB member Rick Green for Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District.

“As an NFIB member, Rick Green understands the challenges that small businesses face daily,” said NFIB’s Massachusetts State Director Christopher Carlozzi. “We know that Rick Green will be an ardent supporter of Massachusetts small business in the U.S. House and will work hard to protect small business tax cuts and help roll back onerous regulations. We are proud to endorse Rick Green for election to the U.S. House of Representatives on behalf of our members in Massachusetts’ 3rd Congressional District.”

Rick Green grew up in Townsend, Massachusetts and has been an NFIB member since 2011.

“If you’re a small business in the third district, you always have to bring your ‘A’ game – every day is your Super Bowl. You’re also the first to lend a hand when someone in the community needs help. You deserve a Congressman who understands, and who can help you work through, the challenges you face daily,” said Green. “I appreciate NFIB’s confidence in our campaign. Together we can empower business owners to grow their businesses, create more jobs and give back to the communities they love.”

As the voice of small business, NFIB knows that good small business policy starts with electing good small business candidates,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Rick understands the challenges facing small business because he has been facing them for the past 20 years.”

NFIB is the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization. Rick Green’s endorsement today comes from the NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. Small business owners vote in high percentages and they are influential in their communities. NFIB members in Massachusetts will work hard to elect Rick Green to the U.S. House.
