RALEIGH, N.C. (Aug. 13, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Senator Thom Tillis for re-election to the United States Senate during a virtual endorsement event.
“Throughout his career in Congress, Thom Tillis has been a dedicated champion for our state’s small businesses,” said Gregg Thompson, NFIB’s North Carolina State Director. “He knows what North Carolina small businesses are concerned about, and he is a staunch supporter of the issues that matter to them. He has been instrumental in pushing back against small business regulations and protecting their privacy. We know without a doubt that he will continue to stand up for small businesses in our state and across the country. Thom Tillis’ endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in North Carolina will work hard to re-elect Thom Tillis.
