LINCOLN, Neb. (Oct. 6, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, endorsed Congressman Don Bacon for re-election to the United States House of Representatives today.
“By earning a 100% lifetime NFIB voting record, Congressman Bacon has proven himself to be a true champion for Nebraska small businesses,” said Bob Hallstrom, NFIB’s Nebraska State Director. “He has a deep understanding of the issues our members care about and is a leader in efforts to make the historic Small Business Deduction created in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 permanent. Congressman Bacon was also instrumental in providing vital financial support to small business owners during these unprecedented times and increasing flexibility in financial assistance programs. We are proud to endorse Congressman Bacon today for re-election.”
“Small businesses need support from their representatives now more than ever,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “Congressman Bacon is a dedicated advocate for small businesses, and we are confident he will remain so in Congress. We are pleased to endorse him today.”
Don Bacon’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Nebraska will work hard to re-elect Don Bacon.
