TOPEKA, Kan. (Sept. 15, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Roger Marshall for election to the United States Senate.
“With a 100% lifetime NFIB voting record, we have no doubt that Roger Marshall will continue to be a champion for small businesses in the U.S. Senate,” said Dan Murray, NFIB’s Kansas State Director. “He has been a proven advocate for Kansas small businesses during his two terms in the U.S. House of Representatives and is committed to standing up for small business priorities, such as regulatory reform and making tax relief for small businesses permanent. On behalf of our state’s small businesses, we are proud to endorse Roger Marshall today for election to the U.S. Senate.”
Congressman Roger Marshall is a retired physician, business owner, and United States Army veteran. He currently represents Kansas’ 1st Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives, where he has earned a lifetime 100% NFIB voting record and two Guardian of Small Business awards.
“Small businesses need strong representatives in office now more than ever in these unprecedented times,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “We know that Roger Marshall will be a solid voice for our members in the U.S. Senate. We’re pleased to endorse him today, and we look forward to continuing to work with him in Kansas and in Washington, D.C.”
Roger Marshall’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Kansas will work hard to elect Roger Marshall to the Senate.
