TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Oct. 16, 2020) — The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation’s leading small business advocacy organization, today endorsed Maria Elvira Salazar for election to represent Florida’s 27th Congressional District in the United States House of Representatives.
“We know that Maria Elvira Salazar will be a staunch ally for our state’s small businesses in the U.S. House of Representatives,” said Bill Herrle, NFIB’s Florida State Director. “She has a true passion for small businesses and understands the challenges our members are facing. She is committed to making the historic tax relief for small businesses permanent and removing onerous regulations. On behalf of our members in Florida’s 27th Congressional District, we are pleased to endorse Maria Elvira Salazar for election to Congress.”
“Maria Elvira Salazar is the kind of candidate that small businesses need, especially during these difficult times,” said NFIB National Political Director Sharon Sussin. “She knows that small businesses drive our economy forward, and we are confident she will make an excellent Member of Congress. We are proud to endorse Maria Elvira Salazar today.”
Maria Elvira Salazar’s endorsement today comes from NFIB FedPAC, the organization’s political action committee. NFIB FedPAC is funded by NFIB member donations above membership dues. Decisions made by NFIB FedPAC are managed by a member-driven grassroots evaluation process. Small business owners are influential in their communities and NFIB members in Florida will work hard to elect Maria Elvira Salazar to Congress.
