NFIB Names Elizabeth Parks as new Grassroots Manager
Parks brings wide range of experience to serve NFIB small business members in CA and NV

SACRAMENTO, Calif., August 3, 2018 – Today NFIB announced the recent hiring of Elizabeth Parks as Grassroots Manager to serve the needs of NFIB small business members throughout California and Nevada from the Sacramento, CA office.

“We are thrilled to have Elizabeth Parks join the NFIB team here in the Sacramento office to serve our members in both California and Nevada. One of the unique features of NFIB members is they join because they are passionate about taking action on public policy at both the state and federal levels, and Elizabeth will help elevate our member activism to greater heights in her new role as Grassroots Manager,” commented John Kabateck, State Director of NFIB in California.

In her new role, Parks is working to develop, coordinate, and implement grassroots activities for NFIB members, in coordination with internal departments, to further advance the organization’s mission and grow member activism. “I immediately felt so welcomed and very much a part of the team at NFIB. I am grateful for the opportunity to be on the team and to work for and on behalf of our members,” Elizabeth Parks remarked.

Prior to coming to NFIB, Parks worked in Washington, D.C. for 11 years, serving in the areas of policy and communications, both of which greatly involved constituent services. Most recently, she served as Deputy Chief of Staff for U.S. Rep. Trent Kelly (MS). She is a graduate of Auburn University with a degree in political science and history.
