NFIB Pennsylvania Welcomes New Legislative Director, Neal Lesher

HARRISBURG, (July 24, 2014) – The National Federation of
Independent Business (NFIB) which represents 15,000 small businesses in
Pennsylvania, today announced that Neal Lesher of Enola, Cumberland County, has
been named state legislative director. 
He will lead NFIB’s day-to-day lobbying and political programs in
Pennsylvania.

“Neal has great experience in the halls of the state Capitol”,
said NFIB Executive State Director Kevin Shivers. “For years he has developed
policy, advocated for legislation and developed great working relationships
with lawmakers and their staffs.  I have
no doubt he will do an excellent job representing the interests of small business
in Harrisburg with the respect he’s gained on the hill.” 

Neal most recently worked as legislative director in the
Governor’s Budget Office. His first position was in Majority Leader Mike
Turzai’s office as a research analyst. 
Neal is a graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove.
