Date: August 20, 2020

We support the candidates who support small business

NEWS RELEASE

HARRISBURG (Aug. 19, 2020) – NFIB announced that its Pennsylvania political action committee has endorsed Cris Dush who is running for state Senate in District 25.

“During his time serving in the state House, Cris Dush has shown he understands the challenges that small business owners face in Pennsylvania,” said Gordon Denlinger, state director of NFIB in Pennsylvania. “During that six-year period he voted to support small businesses on NFIB’s key votes 100% of the time. His votes to keep state government fiscally responsible, keep taxes low, keep regulations in check, and votes during the recent economic crisis show he is a staunch supporter of small business.

“We believe that in the Senate, Cris would continue to work to make this state a better place to raise a family and own a business,” added Denlinger.

NFIB is the leading small-business association in the nation with 13,000 thousand members in Pennsylvania representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from the NFIB PA PAC, the association’s state political action committee, and are based on voting records or surveys of candidates on small business issues and member input.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members, and acquaintances to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the small-business vote for NFIB Pennsylvania PAC-endorsed candidates in the General Election.
