Meet the new Legislative Assistant Interns in Ohio

Date: July 05, 2018

Two Ohio State Students Have Joined the Team

This Summer NFIB has two interns from The Ohio State University (OSU) assisting the office in helping our 23,000 across the state to own, operate, and grow their businesses.

Matthew Snyder is a rising Junior at OSU pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and philosophy, with a minor in business. Matt is a resident of Canal Winchester, Ohio, and graduated with honors from Canal Winchester High School in 2016. After college, he hopes to attend law school, with a focus in corporate litigation.

At OSU, Matt is a brother of Epsilon Tau Pi, the eagle scout service fraternity. He served as the brotherhood committee chair for the 2017-2018 school year and will be serving as the ceremonies committee chair for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year. Matt has also worked with graduate students at OSU to write several research papers in political science.

Noah Vollmer is a rising senior at OSU working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science with minors in history and business. He is a current resident of Dublin, Ohio and a 2015 graduate of Dublin Coffman High School. After graduation, he plans on attending law school but is unsure of where and what area of the law he would like to study.

Before joining NFIB, he worked as an intern with Mike DeWine’s campaign for Governor of Ohio. At OSU, he is active in various intramural sports and also participates in the university’s exploration peer mentor program, where he mentors incoming Freshmen who are undecided on a major, just like he was going into his Freshman year there.
