Maryland Paid Sick Leave and Minimum Wage - Defeated

Legislation that would have raised the Maryland minimum wage to $10 per hour and would have required employers, regardless of size, to provide paid sick leave, has been defeated. The legislation will return in 2014.

NFIB thanks all members who got involved: used our alerts to urge state legislators to oppose these bills, submitted letters to their local newspaper editors, spoke to the media and testified.
