The National Federation of Independent Business/Ohio (NFIB/Ohio), the state’s leading small business association representing 25,000 entrepreneurs, is proud to announce its endorsement of Rep. Rick Perales, who is seeking re-election to Ohio’s 73rd House District seat. The district is home to 126 dues paying members of NFIB/Ohio. This endorsement today comes from the NFIB/Ohio SAFE Trust, the organization’s political action committee.
Rep. Perales is a fiscal conservative in the Ohio House of Representatives who has a platform of being a strong advocate of economic responsibility. He shares the same concerns as Ohio’s entrepreneurs and sees small-business owners as key components to Ohio’s economic success.
“Representative Perales has been approved through NFIB/Ohio’s member-driven process that thoroughly reviews candidates’ records, stated positions and understanding of small-business issues before an endorsement is issued,” said Roger R. Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. “During his time in the Ohio Legislature, he has earned a 100% voting record on our issues and has been a strong supporter of our efforts on state tax reform. We look forward to continuing working with him to move Ohio’s economy forward.”
“Small business is the backbone of the country and Ohio, representing hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans. There are more than 100 NFIB member companies in my district alone. During my time in the Ohio General Assembly, I have been committed to cultivating an environment conducive to small business. That is why I am so pleased to have been endorsed by the NFIB for the upcoming election. I remain committed to working with my colleagues to ensure Ohio remains an attractive home for small business,” said Perales.
