This May 7-11, Ohio is celebrating the first-ever In-Demand Jobs Week! In-Demand Jobs Week is a statewide, locally led celebration of jobs, skills, and industries that are in high demand among Ohio employers. Business, education, and community leaders throughout the state have partnered to plan events and activities to inspire students and job seekers about local in-demand jobs. The Governor’s Office of Workforce Transformation has partnered with Columbus Startup Week to co-host a job fair at The Wave on Wednesday, May 9th from 4:00 – 9:00 p.m. The In-Demand Jobs Week – Startup Week Job Fair is a celebration of in-demand opportunities and entrepreneurship with the goal of connecting motivated professionals with employers. The job fair will attract 500 diverse, young, motivated and talented professionals who are seeking career and networking opportunities with businesses and startups in Columbus.
