The Vermont Department of Labor recently announced an increase to the State’s minimum wage. The increase is based on legislative action taken requiring Vermont’s minimum wage to increase by $.79, from $10.96 to $11.75 and the tipped wage will increase to $5.88/hour (a $.40 increase).
The wage is set to increase to $12.55 on January 1, 2022 (an $.80 increase) and as it stands now, then will go back to annual increases based on inflation. For more information about the Vermont Department of Labor, visit: www.labor.vermont.gov
