NFIB member and small business owner Glenn Pappas calls on Congress to make the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction permanent

STILLWATER (Aug. 22, 2023) – “If Congress doesn’t act, the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction will expire and small businesses like mine will face a massive tax hike in 2025,” NFIB Member and small business owner Glenn Pappas wrote in a letter to the editor of the Stillwater News Press. “The small businesses in your local community need the 20% Small Business Tax Deduction to make similar upgrades in their operations and grow their businesses to better serve your needs.”

In the letter, Pappas outlines how the 20% Small Business Deduction allowed him to hire two (soon to be three) new employees, reinvest in his auto shop, and purchase state-of-the-art equipment. The new machinery allows Pappas to better serve the Stillwater community.
