The National Federation of
Independent Business, Ohio’s and the nation’s leading small-business
association, today announced the endorsement of 12 members of the U.S. House of
Representatives running for reelection.

“We support the candidates who support small business,”
said Roger R. Geiger, vice president and executive director of NFIB/Ohio. The
candidates are:

1st District:  Steve
Chabot

2nd District: Brad Wenstrup

4th District:  Jim

5th District:  Bob
Latta

6th District:  Bill
Johnson

7th District:  Bob
Gibbs

8th District:  John

10th District:  Mike

12th District:  Pat

14th District:  Dave

15th District:  Steve

16th District:  Jim

“These endorsed candidates have been strong supporters
of small business issues during their time in Washington, DC and understand the
need for a vibrant small business community in their districts back home,”
Geiger said.

NFIB has over 25,000 dues-paying members in Ohio,
representing a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsements come from
NFIB’s Save America’s Free Enterprise (SAFE) Trust, the association’s political
action committee, and are based on positions regarding key small-business
issues including health care, taxes, and labor and regulatory issues.

Small-business owners and their employees vote in high numbers
and are known for actively recruiting friends, family members and acquaintances
to go to the polls. NFIB will encourage its members to help turn out the
small-business vote for the candidates in the May primary and again in
November.
