NFIB State Director Gregg Thompson has been named to the NC Rural Center‘s new Small Business Policy Task Force.
The Rural Center and its lending subsidiary, Thread Capital, have signed onto the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation’s Start Us Up coalition and the coalition’s America’s New Business Plan to promote entrepreneurship in rural communities.
The NC Rural Center was created in 1987 to advocate for economic development outside the state’s urban areas.
